An MBA Course Can Improve Your Hearing

How does an MBA change your life? Well, there are obvious ways, such as increasing your job prospects – in 2005 MBA graduates were offered more jobs than at any time since 2001 according to the Global MBA graduate survey. Salaries were also higher than ever before, with an average of $95,000. Good enough reasons for studying an MBA program – whether online or in the classroom.

But there are other changes that happen during an MBA program. One colleague of mine teaches an MBA course in employment psychology, and he maintains that hearing can improve during an MBA program. At the beginning of any course, he finds that the majority of MBA students cannot hear him properly unless he is wearing a business suit. However, as they get to know him better, and become more interested in the course, their hearing improves and he can go back to the proper professorial dress of cords and a tweed jacket.

Time for Study

The biggest problem for anyone who wishes to do training or education during a period of employment is freeing themselves from their job. You cannot allow your work to suffer from a period of study, and yet the study is necessary to increase your effectiveness in your job.

There are a number of different ways to decrease the impact of study time on work, including studying online, or on programs that have a combination of different delivery methods that minimize time spent on campus and time taken out of the normal working day. Many MBA programs are delivered online, or have large components that are online and other components delivered over the weekend, in the evening or in blocks that can use leave entitlement.

You need to solve this problem if you are going to be sure to make the most of your professional potential - an MBA will increase your life earning potential by more than 20% over a bachelor's degree, according to the US Bureau of Labor.
