If you start to research starting salaries for graduates with MBAs you'll get a host of different figures. For 2004, the MBA CSA survey reported a base salary of $71,096, the NACE survey gave a base salary of $72,930 and the GMAC survey reported $78,040. So we can definitively say that your start salary after you have gained an MBA is likely to be in the range of $70,000 to $80,000.
However, you shouldn't forget that this is only a median range. Actual salaries that were quoted ranged from around $25,000 to $150,000. I know where I'd be aiming for if I were just at the end of my MBA program.
